Teen & Adult Summer Reading Starts June 2nd!
Read books of your choosing to earn tickets to put towards a gift card raffle! This post is about the teen & adult program – the Children’s program starts June 17!
From June 2nd until the end of the program on August 2nd, teens and adults can come to the upstairs desk to sign up for Summer Reading and get a goodie bag and free book! This year’s theme is “Color Our World” – which is all about creativity and how impactful art is on our lives.
Here’s how it works: cross off an hour on your bookmark for each hour that you read. Each time you cross off all 5 hours (or get a bingo on the bingo card from your goodie bag), bring it back to the library to get a free book, a raffle ticket to put towards a prize of your choosing, and another bookmark to complete!
The Summer Reading Program is free for all ages! Teens 13-17 are eligible for the Teen Program, and adults 18+ can sign up for the adult program. The children’s program is for ages 13 and under and begins later, on June 17!
