Circulation
Patrons may use their library cards to check out up to 15 items, with a limit of 2 DVDs per patron. Most materials are renewable up to 2 times unless another patron is waiting for the item, totaling up to 6 weeks that you may borrow an item.
Books—Initial borrowing period of 2 weeks
Audiobooks—Initial borrowing period of 2 weeks
Movies—Borrow for 2 weeks, non-renewable
Magazines—Initial borrowing period of 2 weeks
Language CDs—Initial borrowing period of 2 weeks
Yoto Players—Borrow for 2 weeks. Yoto Players are handheld audiobook players. They play stories from Yoto story cards, which can be inserted into the top of the player. They are small, easy to use, and don’t require screens! We have 2 Yoto players and a whole collection of Yoto cards available for checkout.
- Players must be borrowed on an adult card that has been open for at least one month.
- You may check out 2 story cards at a time.
Telescope—Borrow for 2 weeks.
- The telescope must be borrowed on an adult card in good standing (meaning no fees, missing items, etc.)
- Borrowers must show a valid driver’s license and sign a telescope equipment contract to borrow the telescope.
New! Radon Detector—This device has an initial borrowing period of 2 weeks, and can be renewed as long as no-one else is waiting for it. You must sign an equipment contract to borrow this item.

Free Wi-Fi—Bring your laptop or mobile device and access our Wi-Fi.
Museum passes—Available to all residents and library card-holders. These passes offer discounted or free admission to select museums! If you do not have a library card, please bring proof of Farmington residence. For more information about museum passes, please visit our Museum Passes page.
Copies and printing—Prints and copies are 10 cents per page for black & white prints and 25 cents per page for color prints. Please note that personal devices cannot be connected to our printer. If you cannot access your documents on one of the library’s patron computers, please email them to a staff member to print for you.
Faxing—$1.00 per page.
Tax Forms—1040, schedules, etc. If the tax form(s) you are looking for is not on the spinner, a staff member would be happy to print one for you.
