Children’s program: For ages 12 years and younger. Children can be signed up at the circulation desk in the Children’s Room.
Teen program: For ages 13-17. Teens can sign up at the circulation desk on the Adult Floor.
Adult program: For ages 18 years and older. Adults can sign up at the circulation desk on the Adult Floor.

Tuesday, 7/7 at 5:00pm: Dino Bingo
Join us for dinosaur themed bingo and win dinosaur-themed prizes!
This program is for ages 5-12.

Wednesday, 7/8 at 6:00pm in Fernald Park: Family Night in the Park
We’re partnering with the Farmington Rec Department to bring 4 weeks of family fun to Fernald Park! Pack a picnic dinner and set up at the park for these free, family-friendly performances.

Goodwin Library & CLiF at National Night Out! Tuesday, 8/4 at 5:00pm
Thanks to the Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF), we are excited to host a storytelling presentation and book giveaway with author Matt Forrest Esenwine! After his presentation, each child in attendance will be able to pick 2 brand new books. Thanks, CLiF!!
What is Summer Reading?
The Summer Reading Program is a reading challenge for all ages where participants can win prizes for reading books!
The children’s summer reading program is for ages 12 and under. Signups generally begin around the time school gets out for the summer.
The teen program is for ages 13 to 17, and the adult program is for ages 18 and older. Signups for both programs start in early June at the adult floor circulation desk.
All programs end in early August. Specific dates are always published in our newsletter and posted on our website and social media pages.
What are the prizes?
The main prize is raffle tickets. Participants earn raffle tickets that can be put towards gift card prizes of their choice! Gift cards are for local stores, restaurants, and attractions. Participants can also earn free books.
