Hours Change in November!

Our Thursday hours are changing the first week of November.

All other hours will remain the same. From November to April, our hours will look like this:

Monday: 10:00am–5:00pm
Tuesday: 1:00pm–7:00pm
Thursday: 11:00am–5:00pm
Friday: 10:00am–5:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am–2:00pm
Sun/Wed: Closed

New Program! Crafters’ Hour Starts November 2nd!

Come to the library on Mondays starting 11/2 to have a space to work on your craft projects!

This is an un-staffed, passive program with no supplies provided.

The intention is to provide designated time and place for crafters to meet and work. Please be prepared to bring your own supplies and leave the space clean afterwards. Thank you!

It will be held at the round table near the front of the library. All are welcome!

Family Photo Day Signups – Saturday, 11/7 from 10:30am–12:30pm

Get a beautiful family photo taken with our festive holiday backdrop!

This program is free, with a suggested donation of an unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots.

Registration is required, and signups are available every 15 minutes, with a limit of 6 families per time slot.

We Have a Little Free Library!

Take a book, leave a book!

There are all kinds of books in our little free library! The top shelf has children’s books, the bottom shelf has adult books. Stop by and check it out – it’s right outside our front door!

Please keep in mind that the Little Free Library is not a book return for library books! The book return is behind the building.

Vision

The Goodwin Library is a public library that serves as an information center for the personal, cultural, and social growth for the community of Farmington.  The Library maintains collections and implements programs that address the community’s changing informational and recreational needs for education and literacy.  The collections, materials, and programs are offered in a variety of formats to ensure equitable access for all.  The Library believes that free and open access to information and resources will establish the framework for an informed and involved community.
